Dow, S&P Dip Again Even as Greek CDS Improves

The Dow Industrials, having briefly recovered from the shock of mass protests in Greece, are back down again, currently off 32.50 at 10,898.27. The S&P 500 is down 4 points at 1,169.89. The Nasdaq is down 15.45 at 2,408.72.

Interesting considering the sovereign risk picture has let up just a little bit, with spreads on Greek credit default swaps backing off a level of 830 at mid-day, now down to 790, according to Markit.

The Euro has continued its decline, currently at $1.2876 from $1.2892 this morning.
