Collins Stewart analyst Dan Ries this morning raised his ratings on both JinkoSolar (JKS) and Suntech Power (STP) to Buy from Hold, and both stocks are trading higher. In upgrading the stocks, Ries cites “higher modules prices, a higher Euro and better visibility” on the first half of 2011. He sets a $12 target on STP, which closed last week at $9.05, while leaving his $34 target on JKS, which closed last week at $26.76.
In today’s trading:
- JKS is up $1.38, or 5.2%, to $28.14.
- STP is up 37 cents, or 4.1%, to $9.42.
