Insiders Purchased These Dividend Paying Companies Today, One With High Yield And Appealing

Dividend yields from stocks are particularly appealing for long term buy and hold, because the cash payout by itself provides a good margin of safety for the investment. What's more appealing is if insiders also start to buy shares. Insiders, especially executives and directors of companies, tend to know their company very well.

Given the combination of good dividend payout (at least 3%) and insider purchases today, these companies can be attractive for active long term investors. On today's list Windstream (WIN) appears particularly appealing.

The company offers business services, as well as broadband, voice and video services to consumers primarily in rural markets. It has a market cap of $5.57 billion.
